We are pleased to reveal the Cover Art for the new Racing Against The Clock podcast to be launched on Friday August 14.
The cover includes a clock showing 100 Seconds to Midnight. This acknowledges one of the original motivations behind the podcast, being the Doomsday Clock change made in January 2020 by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

To add to that now though, after months of planning in response to massively increasing risks, particularly in the US and especially as the US approaches the Nov election and there’s a new outrage and escalation of concerns on so many fronts every day, I’m launching a new podcast show called “Racing Against The Clock”.
That is the focus of this new website.
Where this idea came from originally is, as you may be aware, it’s now 100 Seconds to Midnight according to the Atomic Scientists behind the Doomsday Clock. That means since January this year when it was moved closer yet again to this 100 Seconds mark, we’ve all been living in the most dangerous time in the 70+ year history of the Clock, and most likely ever… and the Scientists specifically mention Donald Trump and his Administration as being one of the key reasons why.
And that was before the Coronavirus fully hit. And the more overt expressions of early authoritarian behaviour we’ve seen in recent months. And as if the obscene school shootings over the years weren’t enough, they now appear to want to send America’s children and their teachers into the jaws of Covid death.
This podcast is focused on listeners (and especially voters) in the US and aims to feature some of the most authoritative Voices of Reason who have been highlighting some of the key concerns about their areas of expertise and this regime.
Because of the urgency, the calibre of the guests and the importance of the subject material we’ll be covering in this series, we are supporting the launch of the podcast on Friday August 14 with a substantial promotional budget.
We are now looking at having a 3 day launch period from the 14th to the 16th and will highlight our preparations towards that goal on this page.
